Ms. Eileen Mackintosh, Soprano, will present a concert of songs and arias to benefit the DVO. She'll be accompanied by pianist James Rensink. Your admission includes the concert and a private reception honoring Ms. Mackintosh, following the program.

Ms. Mackintosh, Dramatic Soprano, will be joined by Jody Weatherstone, Soprano and Janice Meyerson, Mezzo Soprano, singing songs, arias and duets by Wagner, Strauss, Schubert, Charles Ernest, Rossini, Barber, Verdi and A. Previn. The concert will close with the the final trio from Der Rosenkavalier, one of the most beautiful pieces in the operatic repertoire.

Soprano Eileen Mackintosh is a lifelong multi-faceted musician, singer, teacher, and conductor. Recent performances include the roles of Konstanze (Abduction from the Seraglio), Abigaille (Nabucco), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Aida (Aida), and Hanna Glawari (Merry Widow). She made her debut in Weill Recital Hall as a finalist in the Nico Castel International Master Singer Competition. She maintains a full-time private voice studio, and is a frequent guest conductor for regional choral music festivals. She earned her M.M. from the University of Connecticut and B.M. in Music Education from SUNY Fredonia.
